Laurie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her M.A. at the University of San Diego. She is sensitive to the fact that seeking help requires a great amount of courage and faith, and Laurie meets her clients with unconditional positive regard and by showing up as her authentic self. Laurie is passionate about helping individuals, couples and families attain a sense of peace and meaning through their connection with God, each other, and within themselves by living in a manner that aligns with their values, beliefs and goals. Laurie has experience working with those from all walks of life and with a variety of issues, including adults suffering from Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective, Bipolar and depressive disorders, addiction and homelessness, to children, teens and families dealing with issues including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, autism, behavioral and relational issues. As a young mom herself, Laurie enjoys walking alongside young couples navigating the road to parenthood with all of the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual transitions that take place for hopeful, soon-to-be, and new moms and dads. Laurie also has a heart for working with older adults dealing with end of life issues as well as the caregivers and family members who love and support them.

When she is not at work, Laurie enjoys going out to eat, spending quality time with her husband and baby boy, and walking her pug Quasi.
